Adapted by E.P. Dowdall from the Hungarian play Illatszetar by Miklos Laszlo

Directed by Brandon Ferruccio

Parfumerie is a famous romantic comedy that inspired several movies such as "The Shop Around the Corner" and "You've Got Mail." This warm, funny love story follows the tangled tale of parfumerie employees George and Amalia. Just days before Christmas, George's boss fires him after mistakenly suspecting him to be the lover of his unfaithful wife. Meanwhile, George's own love life goes awry when he discovers that the stranger he has fallen in love with through a secret correspondence pen pal is none other than Amalia Balash, a co-worker with whom he constantly feuds. For the employees of the parfumerie shop, only the truth can lead to a happy resolution in this old-fashioned, romantic Christmas tale.

MR. HAMMERSCHMIDT - Male, Late 40's to 60's
Owner and Boss of Hammerschmidt's Parfumerie. Loyal and a bit stubborn due to his marital problems. Has a special relationship with his employees.

GEORGE HORVATH - Male, Late 20's to Late 30's
Loyal employee and a regular guy next door type who works as a clerk in the Parfumerie. Smart, witty, boyish and charming. A hopeless romantic who has a perfect vision of what love should be.

SIPOS - Male, 30's to 50's
A senior clerk in the Parfumerie. Patient, calm and civil to everyone. Though he is very much put-upon, he is always the voice of reason and practicality. Through every storm he retains his dignity.

STEVEN KADAR - Male, 30's to 40's (cameo as additional character)
Slick, stylish and very ambitious, he's a very effective salesman. Underneath the slick surface he's a cad, and lives an extravagant lifestyle. He's not accustomed to his charms failing him.

ARPAD - Male, 20's
A little rough around the edges and a bit of a klutz, a good kid and a hard working delivery boy who is extremely loyal.

FRITZ - Male, 20's (cameos as 2 additional characters)
The new delivery boy. Unable to do the job as impressively as Arpad, he's in over his head.

AMALIA BALASH - Female, 20's to Late 30's
Loyal employee who is pretty in an unassuming way. Sensitive, responsible, and shy - but strong willed. She's easily frazzled and also a hopeless romantic.

ILONA RITTER - Female, 30's
An attractive, sassy, flirtatious woman - a bit too glamorous for a salesgirl.

BETTY MOLNAR - Female, 20's to 40's
The shop's sarcastic cashier who always cracks the last joke.
